The knowledge and support technical assistance (TA)1 will provide institutional support and implementation capacity to the Just Energy Transition Partnership Secretariat (JETP Secretariat), established in February 2023, to bolster the technical work, coordination, and operationalization of Indonesia’s Just Energy Transition Partnership (I-JETP).

Unlocking investment in small- to medium-scale renewable energy projects across Indonesia by offering partial grant to cover project CAPEX, which lowers financial risk for developers and lenders, and enables ventures that would otherwise struggle under conventional lending criteria

UK PACT supports Indonesia’s ambitions to reduce carbon emissions and tackling climate change.

This project will support critical policy reform areas to advance Indonesia’s ambition in energy transition and achieving JETP targets while ensuring energy affordability, system stability and sustainability. This USD 1.2mn is grant funding.

Support for the JETP IFA with a detailed focus on accelerating Indonesia’s energy transition.

Contribute to a Just Energy Transition and the decarbonization of the Indonesian economy through the promotion of skills for and employment in green jobs.
